Yu Ping is Associate Professor of the Department of Industrial Design at Xidian University, as well as the Executive Director of the Interior Design Branch of the Architectural Society of China and a member of the editorial boards of several design journals. He is also one of China’s most outstanding interior designers, noted for the way in which his award-winning projects blend Chinese design elements with a contemporary style while maintaining their traditional and social functions.
